Nature is the biggest influence in my art especially now Natural disasters are ever increasing with climate change. Making observations, interpretations, and communicating the forms of nature that I think should be preserved and cherished is my goal. I want to create excitement about preservation through visual interest by bringing the feelings and emotions associated in nature inside. Permanent change has befallen much of the natural world and I hope to honor that; by painting directly onto the surface, being concrete, having confident honest brushwork, and being passionate I hope to achieve a fraction of the artistry that I find in nature.
